As a child, I dreamed of being an architect, painter, stylist,… then my teachers and my close ones put me on the right path to “serious” studies and I followed the well-trodden track to the business school and then the American multinational with a high-level position. Five years of corporate finance, management and strategy. Five years of working with brilliant people from different backgrounds and cultures, large-scale projects, ever-increasing challenges. And then there was our first real estate purchase. An apartment “in its own juice” that had to be completely redesigned, the decoration to be shaped to our image, the works to be supervised. The interior design virus had infected me. A few years later, as I continued my professional progression in my multinational, we see bigger and set our sights on an old abandoned hotel. Six apartments, a commercial space and a house later, my passion for interior design and decoration has not waned, on the contrary. What was just a hobby in an already busy manager’s and mom’s agenda becomes a real vocation. I decide to leave my job as financial director after twelve years of good and loyal service and sign up in an interior design school.
With my certification in hand, I created Opus Design Architecture d’Intérieur.
